Acknowledgments

The code of the IMS German Festival was primarily written by Gregor Möhler, Antje Schweitzer and Mark Breitenbücher. It sits on top of the original Festival package from CSTR Edinburgh.

Martin Barbisch and Ursula Vollmer wrote most parts of this manual and found numerous bugs in the text analysis of the German TTS.

Matthias Jilka worked out the rules for the intonation target module for American English.

Bettina Säuberlich did a port of the old sources Festival version 1.2 to version 1.3 and wrote the interface to the lopar parser.

Martin Haase developed an intonation module that uses the output of the lopar parser.
